Public Relations Director

As the Public Relations Director for Cascade Hasson Sotheby’s International Realty, Lindsay provided strategic counsel to senior executives and spearheaded internally and externally facing communications materials. This included developing consistent company-wide messaging, producing internal and external video series, writing and pitching press releases, creating social media and advertising content, and managing ongoing crisis communications.

News Reporter/Multimedia Journalist

This fast-paced, deadline-driven role, honed Lindsay’s ability to juggle multiple tasks, ensure accuracy, think strategically, manage crises and sensitive public facing issues, and make sound decisions under pressure. As a news reporter, she had to pitch story ideas every morning, quickly identify key elements, make cold calls for interviews, coordinate logistics, write under extreme deadlines, and present the story smoothly on TV just hours later.

Working in news, Lindsay encountered people from all walks of life and had the privilege of sharing their unique stories. She is passionate about helping her community and advocating for those who don’t always get a seat at the table. She has a keen eye for detail and exceptional writing and editing skills, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication abilities that enable her to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

She excels at project management, copywriting, simplifying complex topics, crafting innovative narratives, creating multimedia content, and executing public relations/communications strategies consistent with brand voice and tone. Her ability to strategize and manage multiple projects simultaneously is evidenced by successfully launching and implementing a “Belonging” campaign, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the real estate industry and among employees, showcased at www.cascadehasson.com/Belonging. Utilizing her multimedia skills, she also produced video stories featured on Cascade Hasson Sotheby’s International Realty’s social media channels, website, and www.CascadeLife.tv. Collaborating closely with marketing and executives, she wrote, proofread, and edited brand materials, presentations, and company magazine articles to ensure seamless consistency in messaging. 

Lindsay has a master’s degree in mass communication with an emphasis on business journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in business finance from the University of Washington Michael G. Foster School of Business.

When not working, she loves to spend time with friends and family, hang out with her 14-year-old rescue Chiweenie named Ollie, explore the Pacific Northwest, head to the beach, root for the Seahawks, and go wine tasting.
